On Friday, May 10th a
number of local schools participated in a fun activity to mark
coming to the end of another school year. The Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital Community Health Collaborative CATCH program ended
for the year with a Color Run.
At West Lincoln Broadwell School every student was encouraged to
participate in the color run activity, which to put it simply was an
opportunity to get some good excercise while getting very, very
messy in a colorful way.
After their workout, the kids were treated to bottled water and
bananas.
The bananas were provided by Sal Pollice Edward Jones. The kids
enjoyed the fruit and even surprised their teachers who never imaged
so many would be excited to grab the fresh, healthy snack.
