Mount Pulaski Boy Scouts to host annual Flag Retirement Ceremony this weekend

[May 23, 2019]    Mount Pulaski Boy Scout Troop 122 will be holding its annual Flag Retirement Ceremony at the Steenburgen Cemetery this weekend.

This is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, dependent on weather. An alternative date in the event of weather, is Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

The BSA Troop wants to extend an invitation to our community to observe this honorable ceremony.

If you have a flag that needs retired, they can be taken to 103 S. Spring St, the corner of Spring and Jefferson (Greg Maus & Pamela Erlenbush residence) and left in a box designated for flags to be retired by noon, this Saturday.
