SIU and VAC partner to offer
counseling services for Logan County Veterans

The Logan County Veterans
Assistance Commission and the SIU School of Medicine have joined
together to provide counseling to Logan County veterans and their
families.

 Veterans are encouraged to come in on May 30th at
9:00 am to enjoy coffee and donuts and hear what services Kelly
Crooks and the SIU staff can offer. Beginning in June, Kelly Crooks
a Sociologist that is trained in dealing with such issues as PTSD,
anger management and depression will be available Monday through
Friday at the Logan County Health Department for a weekly peer to
peer group meeting or to arrange individual appointments.

 Kelly and SIU are excited for the opportunity to
offer this service to our veterans.
Your VAC is working hard to join forces with as
many specialists within the County that will benefit our veterans.
