The Lincoln College Men’s Basketball team
picked up their second road victory of the season over
Lindenwood-Belleville University on Wednesday evening. Lincoln
dominated play in the first half to take a 40-27 lead into the
break. The Lynx maintained their lead throughout the second half
to win by a score of 71-59.
Three Lincoln players reached double-digits in scoring in the
game including senior Montez Crumble (13), senior Trayvon Tyler
(12), and junior Laytwan Porter (11). Junior Tyrone Wright (St.
Louis, MO) led the team in rebounds with 10. Trayvon Tyler
(Rockford) also added four steals and four assists to his stat
line.
Lincoln (2-0) will in action next at the Indiana Wesleyan
Classic November 1st and 2nd. On November 1st, LC will face #13
Indiana University East and on November 2nd they will take on #4
Indiana Wesleyan.
