| The Lincoln College Wrestling team saw their 
				first action of the 2019-2020 season over the weekend. The Lynx, 
				under the direction of second-year head coach Jordan Bakley, 
				competed at the Dr. Bob Kellogg Open hosted by MacMurray College 
				in Jacksonville, Illinois. 
 No team scores were kept at the six-team invitational, but LC’s 
				Dominic Tenayuca, a freshman from Algonquin, Illinois was the 
				Lynx sole champ on the day at the 149 lb weight class. Others 
				who placed for Lincoln included Christian Dangle (3rd @ 174lbs), 
				Devion Yancey (4th @ 157lbs) and Jack Hale (5th @ 133lbs). Brad 
				Burbes and Clayton Stock each finished in 6th place at the133lbs 
				and 285lbs divisions.
 
 Coach Bakley was pleased with the results of the event. “I saw a 
				lot of good things this weekend,” said Bakley. “A majority of 
				our freshman wrestled in their first college match and they were 
				ready to go. I am excited to see how we do at Milliken next 
				week!” he added.
 
 The Lynx will be back in action next weekend at the Millikin 
				Open in Decatur, Illinois.
