[November 07, 2019]
For 31 years, “Christmas On Vinegar Hill” has taken place on the
Saturday before Thanksgiving, and 2019 is no exception with this
special event at the Mount Pulaski Courthouse State Historic Site on
Saturday, November 23.
Throughout Mount Pulaski, venues will be open from 8:00 a.m. until
4:00 p.m. for the celebration. At the Mount Pulaski Courthouse, the
traditional hot cider, coffee and cookies will be offered to
visitors. The Courthouse will be decorated for Christmas, including
a display of small trees and wreaths prepared by community residents
and set up by the Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation for an
auction. The auction will take place at 3:00 p.m. on November 23.
The trees and wreaths will be on display beginning on November 5.

be on sale at the Mount Pulaski History Museum across from the south side of the
Courthouse. Many vendors will be offering crafts and baked goods at the American
Legion, the Mount Pulaski Grade School and the Mount Pulaski High School. Food
will also be available at local churches.
