            | To the editor: The American
Legion and American Legion Auxiliary would like to thank all who
volunteered on Poppy Days on Memorial weekend by distributing the
poppies. Without their help, Poppy Days would have not been
			possible.
We would also like to thank the businesses that allowed the
volunteers to stand at their stores – Walmart, Big R, Ace Hardware,
and Lincoln IGA. Thanks to the City of Lincoln for allowing our
volunteers to be present at Broadwell and McLean Streets on
Saturday. Also, thanks to Country Aire in Atlanta for letting us
			place poppies at their restaurant.

Poppy Days is such an important fundraiser for the
work that is done for our Veterans.
We especially would like to thank all those that donated for their
poppies and helped make the Poppy Days a great success and a
wonderful way to support and honor our veterans.
