LINCOLN
- To complete their 2019 exhibit season, Logan County Arts members
will hold their annual Holiday Show and Shop event at the Lincoln
Art Institute Gallery at 112 S. McLean St, Lincoln. The show will
open with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 14,
2019.

For this event, the artists will present a variety
of items suitable as distinctive gifts and holiday decor, including
original paintings and photography with local and nature themes,
handcrafted wooden boxes and cutting boards, tapestry, interior
décor, and various holiday decorations and cards. According to
gallerist Moses Pinkerton, the holiday show has been very popular
and well attended in the past. “People appreciate the chance to
choose unique gifts and decorations for the season. The artworks
have appealed to a wide audience, and the prices are very
reasonable.”
This show will include a silent auction taking place between 5 and 7
pm during the opening. Each artist has donated a piece for the
bidding, and all proceeds will go to the upkeep of the Art Institute
Gallery. Winning bidders will not need to be present to claim
their items.
Artists Sheralyn Bolton, Mitch Douglas, Laura Elliott, Sharon Fak,
Charles Hill, Jason Hoffman, Pam Moriearty, Moses Pinkerton, Ashley Sanders,
Tony Shuff, Cheryl Spove, Jan Villarreal, Jeff Williams and others will have
works for purchase.
