[November 14, 2019]
For 31 years, “Christmas On Vinegar Hill” has
taken place on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and 2019 is no
exception with this special event at the Mount Pulaski Courthouse
State Historic Site on Saturday, November 23.

Throughout Mount Pulaski, venues will be open from
8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for the celebration. At the Mount Pulaski
Courthouse, the traditional hot cider, coffee and cookies will be
offered to visitors. The Courthouse will be decorated for Christmas,
including a display of small trees and wreaths prepared by community
residents and set up by the Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation for
an auction. The auction will take place at 3:00 p.m. on November 23.
The trees and wreaths will be on display beginning on November 5.
Gently-used Christmas items, Helen Schmidt's cookies, and other
baked goods will be on sale at the Mount Pulaski History Museum across from the
south side of the Courthouse.
