Memorial Medical Center to Hold Free Program on Foot and Joint Health

[November 14, 2019]  SPRINGFIELD – Memorial Medical Center will host a free program on foot and joint health on Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation (MCLI).

The one-hour program, “Bunions, Ankle Pain and Osteoarthritis,” begins at 6 p.m. in the Curtis Theatre Classroom (2A) on the MCLI’s second floor.

The program will feature Dr. Benjamin Stevens and Dr. David Shervin, both Springfield Clinic orthopedic surgeons.

Stevens will discuss bunions and ankle pain, including how to fix and redo bunions; he’ll hold a question-and-answer session on foot and ankle pain.

Shervin will discuss hip and knee osteoarthritis, conservative treatment options and surgical treatments, including primary and revision total joint replacements.
