Obituary
Abraham Maldonado, 56, of Lincoln
passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Abraham was born on January 23, 1963 in Chicago, the
son of Juanita Flores.
Abraham was a lot of things. He was a good friend, a
Special Olympian, and a great man who brightened the
lives of those he touched. He could be described as
passionate, feisty, hilarious, and smooth. Abraham
enjoyed the simple things in life that many of us
take for granted, such as rides in the park, fast
food trips, or a simple phone call to a friend. He
was quick to offer a kind word, he would often go to
great lengths to put a smile on someone’s face. He
will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial gathering for Abraham will be held from
9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019
at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Burial will be held on a later date in Assumption
Cemetery in Glenwood.
Memorial donations may be made in Abraham’s name to
The Special Olympics.
