On November 6th,
Debbie Theobald of Debbie's Downtown Floral hosted a fundraiser
workshop to benefit the Community Action Head Start Program.
Guests had the opportunity to learn from a professional, the art of
floral arrangements while helping a great local program. Those in
attendance learned all about mixing varieties of flowers and
greenery as well as pairing colors to create a dramatic and
well-balanced centerpiece arrangement for the holiday season.
It was a fun evening for everyone as ladies enjoyed the activity
while visiting with friends or making new acquaintances. One pair of
would-be floral designers was a mother/daughter team. The daughter
had purchased the evening as a birthday gift for herself and her
mom. The two enjoyed spending quality time together doing something
fun.
