The Lincoln Lady Railers were on the road
Tuesday night to open the 2019-20 basketball season at
Rochester. The Varsity game was very close, with Lincoln leading
25-24 at the start of the third quarter. But the Rockets pulled
away in the fourth quarter and won by a final of score of 42-30.
Madelyn Koehler led Lincoln with 16 points.
In the JV game Ellyn Martinez led the Lady Railers with 19
points as Lincoln lost 46-36 to Rochester.
Lincoln was playing without three players due to injury as Leah
Schneider, Asia Sales and Cadence Presswood each have
concussions.
The Lady Railers will play this weekend in the Limestone
Tournament.
