Breast Cancer Support Group to Discuss Cancer Treatment Plans

[October 02, 2019]  SPRINGFIELD – The October meeting of the breast cancer support group at Memorial Medical Center will feature a discussion on tools to help with breast cancer treatment plans.

The meeting begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, in the Clarke Conference Room (E-118) in Memorial Medical Center, 701 N. First St., Springfield. Light refreshments will be served.

Brooke Trickey, a nurse practitioner with Springfield Clinic Oncology, will lead the discussion, which will include talking about oncotype tests and hereditary risk assessments.

The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month except for December. For more information, call 217-757-7684.
