Club President, Sal Pollice started the awards
ceremony saying that this year has been focused on continued growth,
new membership and fundraising. The current board members along with
incoming officers have been meeting to discuss the future goals of
the club. Board Members and incoming Board President, Kent Froebe
agree that membership recruitment and fundraising must continue to
be the clubs focus for the 2019-2020 club year to maintain growth.
The last two years fundraising has been an important focus for the
club hosting successful events like the golf outing and pork chop
dinner. These events have given the club opportunity to give back to
the community more than ever. Pollice said, “I remain dedicated to
the growth of our club. I am proud to say our efforts allowed us to
donate money to several youth focused organizations including a
			$1500 scholarship.”
Awards were given to many deserving members. Patrick
Gettleman was honored with a Distinguished Service Award for his
“hands on” approach and volunteering his time for each event. Club Secretary, Breann Titus was named the 2019
Kiwanian of the Year for being dedicated to creating a stronger more
knowledgeable club. Gerald Carter was also congratulated for being a
local Kiwanis member for 58 years.
