Congressman Darin LaHood (IL-18) announced today that the
Congressional App Challenge is now open for the high school students
in Illinois’ 18th Congressional District. The goal of the
Congressional App Challenge is to inspire, include, and innovate
efforts around STEM, coding, and computer science education.
“The Congressional App Challenge is an exciting opportunity for
central and west-central Illinois high school students to showcase
their talent in the innovative technology field,” said Rep. LaHood.
“Computer science and STEM education are critical to our nation’s
long-term success, and this competition highlights the great work so
many students are doing in these areas. I look forward to seeing the
impressive work students in Illinois’ 18th District can create.”
