Mount Zion defeats the Railers 43-7

[October 12, 2019]    On Friday evening, the Lincoln Railsplitters lost 43-7 to Mount Zion

The Railsplitters trailed Mount Zion 35-0 at the half. Lincoln avoided the shutout on a touchdown in the third quarter by Alex Bogdanic. Bogdanic’s one-yard run and kick for the extra point accounted for all of Lincoln’s scoring versus Mount Zion.

The final: Mount Zion 43 Lincoln 7

Next week the Railsplitters host Mattoon for Senior Night at Handlin Field.
