Aylesworth named Mount Pulaski Senior of the Month for October

Elaine Aylesworth, daughter of Tricia and John
Aylesworth of Mount Pulaski, has been named October-
Senior-of-the-month at Mount Pulaski High School. She was selected
for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership,
service, and character.

Elaine stays actively involved at MPHS with sports
and clubs. She has been a member of the Softball and Basketball
teams. She has also been a member of FCCLA, Yearbook, Drama Club,
NHS, Student Council, and Prom Committee. Elaine has also been named
student of the year in Accounting 1 and 2, Geometry, Algebra 2,
Spanish 2, and Advanced Chemistry.
Elaine works at Farmers Bank and volunteers with Student Council and
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Elaine plans on attending a university and get her bachelor’s
degree in accounting and become a CPA.
The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman
Service and Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance Agency, Inc.. They
are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by
Illinois National Bank.
