J.T. Guzzardo named October LTEC Student of the Month

 

[October 28, 2019]    J.T Guzzardo, son of Nick & Shelly Guzzardo, was named the October Student of the Month for the Culinary Arts II Program at Lincolnland Technical Education Center.

J.T. is a senior at Lincoln Community High School.
 

Ms. Brenda Silano, instructor, says that J.T is a second year culinary arts student and he is headed for success in the culinary field. J.T. has an enthusiasm to learn that is very obvious and that enables him to take advantage of all the opportunities in the classroom. He is the first to volunteer when making something new or using a new technique. He is always willing to take on a challenge and try a new recipe. J.T has a positive attitude and works well with everyone in the class. His leadership skills will help him in future management positions. Ms. Silano says it’s a pleasure to have J.T. in class.

J.T. participates in Chess Club, Leaf Club, Library Club, Wrestling and Football.

J.T.’s future plans are to learn how to do multiple jobs in the culinary industry.

J.T. received $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award and was honored at a noon luncheon.
