The Lincoln College Men’s Soccer team dropped
their final home match of the season on Saturday in wet
conditions by a score of 6-2 to the visiting team from Thomas
More College (KY).
TMC got on the board first in the match with a goal near the end
of the 14th minute of play. Lincoln got an equalizer seven
minutes later from senior Adrian Roman (Waukegan). However,
Thomas Moore would score three more times before the end of the
half. Lincoln’s Miguel De La Rosa (Ecuador) scored in the 69th
minute, but two more late goals scored by their opponents put
the game out of reach for LC.
The loss puts Lincoln’s record at 9-6-1 on the season. The Lynx
will now have to wait and see if they qualify for post season
play.
