The Lincoln College Men’s Basketball team got
the 2019-2020 season underway with a seven-point win over
Graceland University.
Lincoln (1-0) led at halftime by a score of 41-20. Graceland
found more ways to score in the second half, but it was not
enough to avoid a Lincoln win by the final score of 75-68.
Senior Trayvon Tyler (Rockford) led LC in scoring with 21 points
while junior Darnell Latham Jr. (Chicago) was next with 18.
Tyler also edged out fellow senior Montez Crumble (Cahokia) for
the team-lead in rebounds five-to-four.
Lincoln will next play on October 30th at Lindenwood-Belleville
University. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM.
