The Hartem Stags 2019 volleyball season came to an end Wednesday
night at the hands of the Springfield Lutheran Crusaders. After
edging the Crusaders 25-23 in the first set, the Crusaders
bounced back to take set two 25-21. Lutheran then dominated set
three 25-15 over the Stags.
Grace Beekman led Hartem with 18 kills, 18 digs and 4 blocks.
Avah Classen had 20 assists.
Emily Craig had 19 digs.
Hattie Langley had 8 points.
Sami Perschall contributed 7 points.
Springfield Lutheran (no. 5) will play Athens (no. 1) at 6 p.m.
in the regional championship tonight at Mount Pulaski.
