LINCOLN
- Bob Meinershagen, representing the Men’s Fellowship of St. John
United Church of Christ delivered a Keurig Coffeemaker for the
teachers at Central Elementary School of Lincoln.

Accepting the gift is Kelly Bogdanic, principal of
the school. St. John UCC Outreach & Missions has been supporting for
several years, the ‘wish list’ of school supplies for the teachers
who have for years used their own money to help meet their students
needs. Added last year was a hinted wish of the teachers (for those
who got to the coffee pot for the last 2 oz. with not enough time to
make a new pot during their break).

The Men’s Fellowship held a fundraiser at Culver’s this past
month and fulfilled the teachers biggest wish – adding a few boxes of coffee
choices to start their day for the beginning of this school year. The Men’s
Fellowship (which is open to all ages toddler to canes) meets for breakfast the
first Saturday of each month for fellowship and to talk of possible service
projects for the church or community.
