LC Cross Country teams open up
season at IWU Invite

The Lincoln College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams started
their seasons at the Illinois Wesleyan University Invite over the
weekend. The nine team invite was held at Maxwell Park in
Bloomington, Illinois.
The men ran a three mile course and placed 6th in overall team
standings. Lincoln’s top finisher was Anderson Hohn who came in 22nd
overall. Other’s running for the men included Dakota Shepler (36th),
Ed Lopez (46th), Evan Myers (47th) and Tony Harold (49th).

The women’s team ran a two-mile course and did not enter a team
score. Shay Goble (Rankin) was the first Lynx to finish and placed
55th overall. Marissa Sifuentez came in 66th and Lincoln native
Aurora Board was 67th.
Lincoln competes next on September 20th at the Bradley University
Invite at Detweiler Park in Peoria, Illinois.
