Carroll Catholic School announces Queen of Hearts rollover raffle fundraiser

 

[September 04, 2019]  LINCOLN - Carroll Catholic School announces its Queen of Hearts Raffle! The raffle begins in September and continues until May. As a progressive raffle, the jackpot will continue to build until the queen of hearts is revealed. At that time, a new raffle will begin with a starting jackpot of $1,000.

The Queen of Hearts Raffle consists of a board with a standard poker deck and two jokers arranged randomly face down. The cards are numbered 1 to 54. When a player’s ticket is drawn, the card number written on the ticket is revealed. If it’s the queen of hearts, the player wins sixty percent of the jackpot, while the school retains forty percent. All other cards in the deck offer lower cash payouts. If the queen of hearts remains hidden, the game continues and the jackpot rolls over to the next drawing.

Raffle drawings will be held on Sundays, at 6:00 pm, at the Knights of Columbus, 217 N. Limit Street, in Lincoln. The first drawing will be September 8th.

Tickets may be purchased during the week on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the K of C hall, and on the day of the drawing from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, and for one hour after the drawing for the next week’s drawing.

Tickets are $1.00 each and are cash only to purchase. There is no limit to the number of tickets that may be purchased, and the winner does not need to be present to win.
