Breast Cancer Support Group to discuss Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

[September 04, 2019]  The September meeting of the breast cancer support group at Memorial Medical Center will feature a speaker from the American Cancer Society talking about the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.

The meeting begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the Clarke Conference Room (E-118) in Memorial Medical Center, 701 N. First St., Springfield. Light refreshments will be served.

The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are part of a national event to build awareness and raise funds to save lives from breast cancer. The Springfield walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, on the Illinois State Fairgrounds.

The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month except for December. For more information, call 217-757-7684.
