LC Golfers Compete at ONU Invite

The Lincoln College Men’s and Women’s Golf teams participated in the
two-day Olivet-Nazarene University Invitational over the weekend.
The Men’s team finished up ninth in the ten-team event. No team
score was possible for the Lady Lynx due to not having enough
available golfers to qualify.
LC freshman Adler Boatman (Springfield) finished the men’s first
round of play in a tie for 9th overall with a 76. His Day-two score
of 87 brought him in as LC’s highest finisher in a tie for 27th.
Junior Adam Hoffman (Ashland) finished with a 166 and in 33rd place
overall.

On the women’s side, LC senior Jaylee Swinford (Lincoln) shot a
total 226 which was good for 27th and Amber Mason, a freshman from
Belleville, Illinois, came in 33rd with a 302.
Next up for the men’s team will be a trip to Marshall, MO for the
two-day Missouri Valley College Invite September 9th and 10th. The
women are off until September 17th when they will participate in the
Elmhurst College Invitational.
