Send a link to a friend The members of Logan
County Arts are continuing the tradition of filling in the windows
of the Lincoln Art Institute building with creative paintings.
The initial project can be seen on the first floor windows of the
building facing the Lincoln Post Office parking lot. It was
			completed last year.

Now, another six artists have volunteered to add to this colorful
outdoor art gallery. Their art was placed on the second and third
floors of the building on Friday morning.

Margie Douglas, Jason Hoffman, Ashley Sanders, Tony Shuff, Jeff
Williams and Laura Elliott have all finished their projects. “They
have all created a unique blend of form and color that will brighten
the downtown Lincoln landscape for years to come,” said artist and
			gallery owner Moses Pinkerton.

Each painting has been covered with several layers of a protective
coating so that the weather will not damage or dull the paintings
			created by the talented artists.

“Art is not just for four walls inside an art gallery. It should be
everywhere, inside and outside for people to enjoy. The outside
window project is just another extension of an art gallery,” said
Jason Hoffman, artist and president of Logan County Arts.
