The charge nurse role brings Rogers the opportunity to do a variety
of tasks throughout a typical day. In addition to treating patients,
Rogers responds to all rapid response calls throughout the hospital,
reviews lab cultures, and works with her team to brainstorm
solutions to problems throughout the day.
“Every day can be very different in the emergency department but
overall we work together to give our patients the best care,” said
Rogers. It is clear that she enjoys her position and working at ALMH.

comes up with new things to better the community. There are a lot of
great people who work here. And because we are a smaller hospital,
it really does feel like a family,” said Rogers.
She was nominated by a colleague to recognize her positive attitude
and dedication to patient advocacy and staff safety.
