Lincoln Woman's Club kicks off new year with membership coffee
Next meeting Wednesday, September 18th

[September 14, 2019]   LINCOLN - Lincoln Woman’s Club hosted a New Member Coffee September 12, 2019 with the theme “Join Us On A Journey”.

A lively group of nearly 40 current and prospective club members enjoyed the event held at the Woman's Club building , 230 N. McLean in Lincoln.

Following an icebreaker game and refreshments, attendees heard brief presentations from the membership committee as well as several club officers.

Everyone in attendance was encouraged to attend Lincoln Woman’s Club’s first meeting of the 2019-2020 program year to be held Wed., September 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woman’s Club building.

Program: Jennifer Keith, specialist in Therapeutic Humor: "Using Humor to Live Your Life Fully"

Theme: "Welcome Back!"

Raffle: Marilyn Armbrust

Members are asked to bring items for female soldiers: ladies black socks, chap stick, tampons, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. This collection is part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs initiative to do 1,000 projects for Women in the Military.
