Several colleagues nominated Cunningham for the recognition. Cheryl
Boyd appreciates that she is always very happy to help in any way
possible. “She is quick to help and works very hard,” said Boyd.
Colleague Beth Simonson wanted to recognize her for maintaining a
very positive and nurturing attitude during a recent heavy workload.
Simonson described her as having “great leadership skills with an
inspiring work ethic.” And Cunningham’s concern for patient safety
is appreciated by Allison Lowman.
“Kathleen is always smiling. She has a positive attitude and gentle
voice with our patients. She always goes above and beyond to make
sure that patients get the most out of their meal, or will provide
other options from the cafeteria if their diet allows it. The
patients love her,” said Lowman.
