Mount Pulaski Mayor Matt Bobell delivered a fantastic opening speech
on Friday, September 13, 2019, to kick off the Mount Pulaski Fall
Festival.
The square was filled with food vendors, craft vendors and
inflatable FUN!
The Kiddie Pageant took place on the steps of the courthouse this
year and was a perfect historical setting for the next generation of
“Hilltoppers” to make history.
The Hilltop Catering & Hilltop Club Grilled Chicken Dinner was a
huge success under the big tent on the square.
Kids of all ages had fun participating in the Lip Sync Battle.
The evening wrapped up with the band Brandy Kristin and the Revival
headlining the beer tent.

The beautiful cool evening brought a lot people to the square and many were
overheard saying, “This is one of the nicest festivals we’ve seen in years.”
The festival continued on Saturday with a Soap Box Derby, Kiddie Tractor Pull,
Antique Tractor Show and Chili Cook-off and Bake-Off just to name a few of the
highlights.
The parade was set for 4 p.m.. Following it, local band, “Ralphie and the Boys”
took the stage. Walker Allen is the lead singer of the band that be made its
Fall Festival debut. A pork chop dinner was held in the big tent. This dinner
was a fundraiser for the MPHS students trip to Washington D.C. Dueling Pianos
then took the main stage. The Outland Band was the headline act in the beer tent
wrapping up another terrific Mount Pulaski Fall Festival.
