Obituary
Alberta C. Culler, 78, of Lincoln,
passed away at 5:17 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18,
2019. She was born on December 24, 1940 the daughter
of Albert and Lydia (Hellman) Wibben in Hartsburg.
Alberta married John Culler at the Hartsburg
Methodist Church on December 20, 1959.
Alberta is survived by her son Chad (LaTisha) Culler
of Lincoln, two daughters, Crystal (Michael) Burge
of Lincoln, and Lisa (Clary) Vaught of North
Carolina; five grandchildren, Christa Rogers,
Jonathan Burge, Megan Culler, Jaclyn Culler, Alex
Donaldson; two great grandchildren, Andrew and
Elisabeth Rogers, and three brothers, Donnie Wibben
of Lincoln, Jon Wibben of Hartsburg, and Darrell
Wibben also of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by
her husband, parents, and two sisters in law, Jill
Wibben and Mary Lou Wibben.
Alberta loved gardening and flowers. She was an avid
Cubs fan and loved spending time with her family,
grandchildren, and her dog, Molly.
A funeral service will be held for Alberta on
Monday, September 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Hurley
Funeral Home in Mason City. Visitation will be held
one hour prior to the funeral from 10:00 a.m. to
11:00 a.m. Pastor Steve Williams will officiate.
Burial will follow at Mason City Cemetery in Mason
City. Memorials may be made to Alberta’s family.
