Mount Pulaski, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Palm Terrace
in Mattoon.

Obituary
Joan Pauline Behrendt, 86, a
long-time resident of Mount Pulaski, passed away on
Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Palm Terrace in Mattoon.
Joan was born on February 9, 1934 in Flint, MI, the
daughter of John and Helen (Rupp) Biesemeier. She
was a graduate of Valparaiso University with a
degree in social work.
Joan is survived by her sons, Richard (Amy) Behrendt
and James (Catherine) Behrendt, and her three
grandchildren, Cory, John and Michael; her sisters,
Phyllis Burson and Carol Pape; and several nieces
and nephews.
Joan will be interred at the Mount
Pulaski Cemetery. |
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski.
