Time for Self-Reflection

[April 28, 2020]    If there wasn’t a more suitable time for self-reflection, I don’t know when it would be.

We spend hours watching mind numbing television to escape the stress and worry.

Even if it’s for an hour a week, let your mind, heart and spirit connect to deepen your understanding of who you are and your authentic self. This time of inquiry of what is happening to our planet and the devastation to millions has sent our minds twirling to understand why this is happening and what we can learn from it.

What will be the “new” normal?

Do we want to return to the way of life that we had?

Are we going to be the same person we were before the crisis?

Challenging times give us the opportunity to re-evaluate our journey and choices. This is a period to grow in our humanity, compassion and connection to each other and our oneness.

The thought of death and our immortality brings us to our knees and awakens a part of our soul that might have been sleeping. The time is ripe for self-reflection and asking yourself a few powerful soul-stirring questions.

  1. What have I learned through this experience?

  2. What have I taken for granted and how will I not let that happen again?

  3. What beliefs do not serve me any longer?

  4. What is calling me, emerging in me that I must act upon?
