[August 12, 2020]
On September 1, 2020, the City of Lincoln will reinstate water shut
off requests and will begin the water shut off process. Any account
that has a balance that is 90 days past due will be subject to a
water shut off request.
If an account is 90 days past due, a letter was mailed with the
sewer bill on July 31, 2020 to notify customers of their past due
status and that the City will request the water to be shut off at
their premises if a payment is not made prior to September 1, 2020.

If the water is shut off, there will be an additional cost of $75.00 for turning
the water off and back on. The customer will be required to pay these costs plus
the delinquent amount to the City, before water service will be restored. To
restore water service the sewer account balance must be paid in full with cash,
cashier's check or money order.
