Trepac moves to Heartland from Western Illinois
University (WIU) where she has served as the Associate Vice
President for Budget and Finance.
“I want to thank our search committee for conducting such a thorough
review and identifying a strong pool of candidates for this
important position,” said Heartland President Keith Cornille.
“Letisha comes to us with a depth of experience beyond that of just
budget and finance—holding positions in technology services, human
resources, and development during her tenure at WIU. We are very
fortunate to have her join our team and look forward to her new
perspective.”
Having served in a variety of roles at WIU for the past 20 years,
Trepac is scheduled to begin at Heartland on August 24, 2020,
pending approval from the Board of Trustees on August 18.

"My family and I are excited to join the Heartland community and
become residents of the robust Bloomington-Normal region,” said Trepac. “During
the search process, I found members of Heartland to be extremely welcoming and
passionate about the College's mission and values. I am honored to serve the
College and participate in its role of supporting the community and advancing
student success."
The vacancy was created by the departure of Vice President of
Business Services and Institutional Effectiveness Doug Minter, who left the
College at the end of May for a position at Waubonsee Community College. Since
the vacancy, Sam Overton has been serving as Interim VP of Finance &
Administration. To aid Trepac’s transition, Overton will continue in this
position through September.
