Logan County Democrats to host drive-thru meeting August 20th

The Logan County Democratic Central Committee announced today that it will meet the public at a “Drive Through” event at the Kickapoo Creek Park big shelter from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20. Everyone is invited to participate by “driving through” the big shelter area of the park.

The continuing COVID-19 crisis had threatened to derail the Logan County Democrats’ tradition of meeting on the third Thursday of every month. Then its central committee came up with the idea of a “drive through” event.

All participants will be expected to wear a face covering. Those who “drive through” can stay in their cars as they share thoughts with State Democratic Committee member Sheila Stocks-Smith, Congressional candidate George Petrilli, and members of the Logan County Central Democratic Committee.
