Logan County elected officials to
be sworn in on December 1st

Logan County officials will mark the first day of their new fiscal
year on Tuesday December 1st with the swearing in of elected
officials.
Due to coronavirus restrictions, the ceremonies will not be open to
the public this year, but may be viewed via the Logan County Clerk’s
Facebook page.
The individual ceremonies will also be done individually for the new
Logan County Circuit Clerk and Coroner as well as the swearing in of
the returning State’s Attorney.
At 8:30 a.m. on Monday morning Kelly Elias will be sworn in as the
new Logan County Circuit Clerk.
Newly elected State’s Attorney Bradley Hauge, who was previously
appointed to the position to fill out the term of Jonathan Wright
when Wright was appointed as judge to the Fourth District Appellate
Court, will be sworn in at 9 a.m.

At 9:30 a.m. the newly elected Logan County Coroner Don Peasley will be sworn
in.
County Board members will be sworn in at 5:30 p.m. as a portion of the county
board organizational meeting.
All activities will take place in the Orr Building in downtown Lincoln.
