Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital achieved a four-star rating based
on patient experience scores reported in the most recent Hospital
Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS)
survey.
The survey collects patients' perspectives on hospital care and
issues four quarterly reports based on the data each year. It covers
topics such as how well doctors and nurses communicate with patients
and with each other, how responsive hospital staff are to patient
needs, how clean and quiet hospital environments are and how well
patients are prepared for post-hospital settings.
“As an affiliate of Memorial Health System, our hospital puts the
safety of our patients and colleagues first, and we hold integrity,
quality and stewardship as our core values, central to everything we
do,” said Dolan Dalpoas, Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital president
and CEO.

“We achieved our four-star rating because those values are evident in the
exceptional care we deliver to our patients.” Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital
was honored for its four-star rating during a virtual ceremony in November.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services created the HCAHPS star ratings
to allow consumers to more quickly and easily compare hospitals using the
Hospital Compare website.
