Obituary
Nancy E. Poole, 79, of Lincoln,
passed away December 9, 2020 at home surrounded by
her family.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. There will be no services at
this time due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Nancy was born August 1, 1941 in Lincoln, the
daughter of Burl C. Elkins and Anna ( Voyles) Elkins. She
married David Poole on April 10, 2010 in
Clarksville, TN. She was of the Methodist faith.
Nancy retired from the State of Illinois. She loved
refinishing furniture and "junking". She used her
talents to furnish many people's homes and was
always giving away the beautiful things that she
made. She also enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and
spending time with family and friends. |
Survivors include her husband David Poole, daughter Lori Worth
Brown (Roger), grandsons Roger and Alex, and step daughters Laura Greer and
LeAnn (Josh) Horner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and two brothers.
Memorial donations may be mare to the Christian Nursing Home.
