[December 16, 2020]    At 7-6, the Las Vegas Raiders are very much on the AFC playoff bubble, and they're currently on the outside of the postseason structure looking in with three games remaining.

Their run at a wild card got more difficult Tuesday as the Raiders placed rookie wide receiver Henry Ruggs III on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Ruggs, the No. 12 overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, will at least miss the Raiders' next game against their AFC West-rival Los Angeles Chargers (4-9) on Thursday.

Ruggs ranks fourth on the Raiders with 414 receiving yards and is tied for third with two touchdown catches. One of those scoring catches was the game-winner against the New York Jets in Week 13. Ruggs started 10 of the 11 games he's played in this season.

Also Tuesday, the Raiders designated Takk McKinley for return from injured reserve and signed Vic Beasley to the 53-man roster.

The Raiders have lost three of their four past games, including a 44-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
