The city of Mount Pulaski would like to remind residents that monthly water bills are due at the end of the month, each month.

Water bills are mailed out from the city at the 15th of each month and are due at the end of the month. There is a 10 percent penalty assessed on the first day of the month for any unpaid bills.

If you do not receive your monthly bill by the 20th to 22nd of each month, please contact city hall at 217-792-322 or email cityhall@cityofmtpulaski.com.

Here are some other reminders:

You can pay with cash, check or money orders. Please return your stub or put account# on your check. Returning the side stub helps assure your payment is applied to the correct account.

Payments are accepted at Farmers Bank or Illinois National Bank in Mount Pulaski. You may also use the white dropbox at city hall or U.S.P.S. You may also set up direct payment through your checking account with ACH forms available at city hall.

You can pay extra on your account at any time and still receive your bill reflecting the credit balance.

If you're not on it already you may request to be added to our mass email list. Contact city hall for questions or further details.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
