On Monday, members of
the United Riders Motorcycle Club delivered dozens of fruit baskets
to local nursing homes and senior living facilities in Lincoln, such
as Castle Manor.
The group had gathered together over the weekend and worked to put
each basket together.
For more than 30 years, David and Tecia Hennessey took on this
project of giving on their own. A few years ago, they shared that
they would like some help, maybe even someone to take over the
project altogether.
The United Riders decided they would like to take it on, but only if
David and Tecia continued to help, especially early on in the
transition.
Tecia said the club didn't need much guidance as they began right
away managing the project and have done a wonderful job with it ever
