Anna Schoth named December Senior
of the Month at Mount Pulaski High School

Anna Schoth, daughter of Deborah Shannon and Gene Schoth of Mount
Pulaski, has been named December-Senior-of-the-month at Mount
Pulaski High School. She was selected for this honor based on the
criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
During her time at MPHS, Anna has stayed actively
involved. She has been a member of Student Council and FFA for four
years and also a class representative for four years. She has been a
member of the Cheerleading Squad for four years. She participated in
Softball, Spanish Club, and Drama Club for three years. She has two
years a Scholastic Bowl member and one year as a member of the
Academic Challenge team. She has been named Spanish student of the
year and has earned high honors at MPHS.
Anna has also volunteered at Make a Difference Day in the community
and has made Christmas cards for the residents at Vonderlieth.

Anna plans to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana
Champaign, majoring in Biology. She plans to attend Graduate school also to
become a Pediatric Occupational Therapist.
The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman Service and
Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance Agency, Inc.. They are also in
the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by Illinois National
Bank.
