[February 03, 2020]  Fresh off an outstanding performance Saturday night during halftime of the Railer basketball game, the LCHS Railette Dance Team competed on Sunday at the Illinois Drill Team Association (IDTA) Regionals in Mattoon. The ladies received a first place in Pom and Pom Dance, a second place in Lyrical, and State Qualifying scores in all three dances. The team will have one more regional event next weekend, then will compete at IDTA State on February 14-15 in Springfield.

Congratulations ladies!

For those that may have missed the Railettes performance Saturday night, the ladies brought out their dads to dance with them at center court during halftime of the Railer game with Nokomis. This moment between dads and their daughters is always a hit. The dads really stole the show with their incredible dance moves and creative costumes. The daughters and the crowd loved every minute of it.

Great job, dads!
