Chicago Cubs mascot Clark to appear at American Legion Post 263 breakfast buffet

[February 04, 2020]     The mascot of one of baseball’s most iconic teams will be posing for pictures, signing autographs, and eating with fans at American Legion Post 263’s next breakfast buffet.

Clark debuted as the mascot of the Chicago Cubs in 2014. The young, friendly Cub (who claims it was his “great-grandbear” Joa who was the original live bear mascot for the team in the early 1900s) can usually be found before home games hanging out at Gallagher Way outside of Wrigley Field. During games, he’ll walk around the ballpark and take pictures with fans of all ages. Now, fans will have that same opportunity in Lincoln next weekend.

Clark will be at American Legion Post 263’s breakfast buffet in Lincoln on Sunday, February 9, 2020, from 10 – 11 a.m.

It’s a $10 admission to the breakfast for all fans (except grade school children); meeting Clark is included with admission. All proceeds will go to Post 263’s baseball program.

The breakfast includes:

Fresh donuts
Sausage and gravy
Scrambled eggs
Potatoes
Bacon
Fresh fruit
Milk
Coffee
Orange Juice
