Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital names Willoughby Colleague of the Month for January

[February 05, 2020]  LINCOLN – Chrissy Willoughby of Clinton has been named the January 2020 Colleague of the Month at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Willoughby has worked at the nonprofit hospital in Lincoln as a physical therapist for seven years.

Willoughby earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Millikin University and a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from Northwestern University. She has worked as a physical therapist for 30 years.

“Each day, I have the privilege and joy of helping our patients and their families achieve what they thought was unattainable.”

Willoughby said she takes a lot of pride in her work and enjoys the hard working atmosphere at ALMH.

“The team I work with is wonderful. Everyone always strives to do their best for our patients,” Willoughby said.

Willoughby was nominated by an anonymous colleague, who was thankful for Willoughby’s work ethic and contribution to the team.

“Chrissy has taken on additional responsibilities within our department without complaint. She has essentially created a whole new process for insurance pre-certifications and has made it seamless for all of us,” the nominator wrote.
