Sunday, February 2, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. |

Obituary
Shirley A. Meserole, 82, of Atlanta,
passed away at 10:55 a.m. on Sunday, February 2,
2020, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday,
February 6, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Atlanta
Township Cemetery. Mr. Maurice Stribling will
officiate.
Shirley Ann Meserole was born August 21, 1937, in
Fairfield, Illinois, the daughter of Theodore and
Elva Cravens Meserole, Sr.
She is survived by two brothers: Roy D. Meserole and
Sandy (Pam) Meserole; one cousin whom she raised,
Carlos Cravens; and 50 nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her
parents; three brothers: Theodore Meserole, Jr.,
Harold R. Meserole, and Arland Meserole; and one
nephew, Keith Meserole. |
She graduated from Hittle Township
High School in Armington in 1955. Shirley retired
from Lehn & Fink billing department. She was an
artist and loved to paint. She also loved to read
and play bingo.
Memorials may be to the Atlanta Rescue Squad.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
