Obituary
Janet K. Maurer, 73, passed away at
her home in Lincoln on February 2, 2020.
Janet was born on June 6, 1946 in Lincoln, IL;
daughter of Orvil and Helen (Waddell) Stroh. She
married Thomas Maurer on April 22, 1968 in Lincoln,
IL. He preceded her in death on February 17, 2013.
Surviving Janet is her brother: Bob (Mary) Stroh,
many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents,
and three brothers: Jack, Jim, and Charles Stroh. |
Services for Janet will be 11:00 a.m.
Thursday February 6, 2020 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL with Ernie Harvey
officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to
the service. Burial at Zion Cemetery will follow the
service. Memorials may be made in Janet’s name to
the American Alzheimer’s Association or the American
Heart Association.
